Just learned that, seven years after I left, some developers at Paizo use the term "Sutterism" to mean tantalizing allusions to cool creatures/locations/etc. that aren't actually explored in the text, leaving Game Masters to fill in the blanks. I literally could not be prouder. 🥰

Not just developers either - I've heard freelancers say it too. I also took a class with James where he explained his world-building tips and tricks, like mashing disparate concepts and examining the results to create unique and flavorful lore. James is an immensely impactful creative!
