Tonight's #wine selection was inspired by @dgalasinski.bsky.social (thank you!) - he inspired me to open a 2004 Pignol by Bressan. In a word, this wine is outstanding. 1/2

Today's #wine, that I had with salmon roe and sea urchin bowl, is a beautiful cold climate Cabernet Sauvignon rose from Says Farm in Toyama Prefecture. Quite nice, complex and balanced, goes well with Japanese food too!

No. Please no. AI is shoved down our throats everywhere, can we please stop shoving it down #wine bottles too? Holy hell...😵

Today's #wine is a recent recommendation by @jancisrobinson.com that I just had to try: a 2023 Bernard Baudry Les Granges Chinon. While I didn't get the semi-mystical experience the writer did, this one is undeniably excellent. 1/2

Back to Japanese #wine tonight, with two bottles of #merlot from Nagano prefecture - 2017 Vignerons Reserve by Villa d'Est, that I visited last year, and a white (!) Blanc Merlot by Votano Wine. 1/3

Today's #wine is said to be very age-worthy, but I felt like tasting a young one first - might not remember much about it when another bottle in my cellar actually ages, but still ;) Anyway, had a wonderful Piemonte Timorasso: Derthona 2022 by La Spinetta, with their usual rhino label. 1/2

Today I'm having just one #wine, but it has enough aroma and flavor for two: 2011 Istina by Francuska Vinariya, owned by Estelle and Cyrille Bongiraud - a French vigneron couple who moved to Serbia to make wonderful wines. 1/2

Forgot to take a photo while the bottle was still full, but had another #wine by the great Dario Prinčič: his Rosso. A blend of Merlot and Cab Sauv, it's a fantastic daily drinker for when I feel like something a bit heavier and more contemplative. 1/
