Original owner used the original receipt as a bookmark and now there's a permanent brown area where the receipt touched the pages. It's been there for 64 years. Seems a shame to take it out now. It's earned its spot.

This cd is stuck in my cd player. Every now and then it randomly starts to play. Since it's a German musical, it can be a little startling when all of a sudden the car says, "Va va Voom, Luceni," or that's what I think it says. (You should hear me trying to sing along.)

Bingley is excited that an old blanket appeared on the couch, even though the blanket was supposed to keep the couch clean till guests arrived. I have to confess we entertained guests with the blanket still in place. And because everyone knows the pecking order around here, they were cool with it.

At Cabaret yesterday, Cliff said his line “…if you’re not against all this then you’re for it. Or you might as well be”. The audience interrupted the scene to applaud that line so strongly it stopped the show. Doing a show about the onset of fascism right now is. . . chilling.
