In the last two weeks I have heard someone predict that Musk will be assassinated at least a dozen times. I can only imagine this talk is even more common in the social circles of those more intensely impacted by his actions.

More training rides this weekend. By the end of the month I will be pulling metric century (65 mile) rides and halfway to my fundraising goal, though I hope to beat it by a large margin. With government chaos and cuts, we are going to need every cent we can get. #aidslifecycle

Someone asked why I refer to our current president as Le Fasciste Orange. Because the French have an admirable tradition for how to deal with traitors and tyrants. And just as I refuse to accept liberal historical revisionism, I also will not accept any redefinition of 1-6-20. Vive le resistance.

Reading the inane garbage coming off Fox and MAGA regarding the California fires makes my slapping hand tremble.

What do bats, birds, bees, butterflies, and wolves have in common?

This has evolved into a difficult forum for me. Some of my friends are reposting so many articles per day that my feed is choked with opinions from pundits.

It seems that all my friends accounts here are posting political content. Is that what you are on Bluesky for? If so I am happy to dive in, but if not, speak up.

My brain is wired for organizing. Everything has a place it belongs, and a context. So, of course, InfoWars being bought by The Onion makes perfect sense to me. Absurd things that make us laugh but are removed from reality belong together.
