I think every person currently in prison should raise this as a new defense and demand a new trial. How do you plead? Guilty or not guilty? "I was saving the country!"

When can we start talking about how they now have the authority to write themselves checks in any amount they desire? Seriously, is there anything at all that stops them from just paying themselves whatever?

If that guy with the gray beard is a federal agent, then I'm Beyonce.

Does this mean they're going to start pulling people's licenses?

While most of America is scraping money together to buy groceries, Musk continues to enrich himself at taxpayers' expense. He doesn't need or deserve anyone's defense or apologetics.

$7 million of taxpayers' money for a staff of 23 people for one week. He also receives BILLIONS in subsidies from the U.S. Government to fund his SpaceX program, rather than spending it on restoring and securing our planet's health for future generations.

Instead, he charged the U.S. Government $7 million for ONE WEEK of having his team of 20-somethings, who have zero experience with any of the complex systems they're rummaging around in, create chaos, spark a slate of lawsuits, put working class people out of work, and screw over American farmers.

Elon Musk could single-handedly fund all of these programs and still have $297.2 billion left over. He could pay a 15% tax and fund half of the total of these programs by himself, and he would make that back in no time just on interest earned.

So, is anyone coming up with a list of names as potential replacements? Because that work has to start now.

5. Delay large purchases that require financing. Delay applying for bank loans if possible.

Reduce investments. Divest from companies that support a corrupt regime. Write to boards of directors & shareholders to let them know why you pulled your investment.

3. Cancel all but the most essential credit cards. Lower consumption. Pay in cash as much as possible and buy local as much as possible.

2. Keep a minimum bank balance. Pay your bills, then take out the rest. Leave only what's necessary to keep the account open.

1. Change your payroll withholding to the least amount possible. Self-employed, stop paying quarterly taxes. Hold the money in an escrow account until these buffoons are out of office.

Keep a minimum bank balance. Reduce investments. The main point is to interrupt the flow of money from the working class to the feds. If they want a gov't by billionaires for billionaires, then let the billionaires pay for it.

Yes. If you work for a company that withholds taxes, change your W4 form so they're withholding as little as possible. If you're self-employed, don't file or pay quarterly. Hold the money in an escrow account until these buffoons are out of office.

I think a nationwide refusal to pay taxes to a proven corrupt gov't is one option. I also think pressuring PACs and other lobbyists is another. 3rd is pressuring the AMA and Bar Assoc to start pulling licenses.

I'm thinking a large-scale postcard campaign might be worthwhile at this point. It's tangible and more difficult to ignore. Fill their offices. Make them have to break out the shovels.

The time to be looking for his replacement starts now. I've been asking for names of likely candidates, but I'm not hearing many answers.

That is something I can understand. A lot of these people grew up with televangelism, so they're used to spending money on stupid shit. But even televangelists have fallen from grace when enough people got tired of the grift.

EVERY House Democrat should be signing onto this.

I think there should be a 4-year nationwide refusal to pay taxes. Let them continue withholding, but no one should file taxes or pay a penny more for the 4 years we have a criminal as president.

Did you shower this morning? No. K...that's what I thought. Just checking.

I say we put that to the test. Anyone have any bamboo?

A customer wrote me a very nice review after receiving products from my bakery, reminding me that most people are genuinely kind and decent. 🥰 Good luck today!
