#uspol I've been personally boycotting Walmart for, uh (counts) 18 years, and I've already been working to reduce Amazon and have mostly succeeded. I did yesterday's black-out. Nestle might take some planning, though, sigh. And April 18th is my dad's birthday so that's probably not happening.

The Brooklyn Public Library has announced that any teenager in America is now eligible for a Brooklyn Public Library card.
Teens can sign out ebooks + audiobooks

i listen to night vale to sleep (sometimes). it is a horror podcast. (i skip episodes i find too scary for sleep). this is compounded by this really cool (/s) glitch spotify does with podcasts.

sometimes i want to whisper gently to readers (not even MY readers necessarily) that if you don't like an author's books you don't have to keep reading them. craft can improve, but if the themes and types of characters an author is interested in writing don't resonate...it's not going to change.
