Tomorrow is a big day. Not only do we present options to the parents of the posh boy for the next year, but Mrs Ashby also gets her CVS (Chorionic Villus Sampling) results. We find out if the baby will be developmentally handicapped because of her advanced year providing an oven for bread

We arrived home to curries and wine on tap. Posh Lad is now giving a blow-by-blow visual spoken travelogue of most of his photos taken over the last ten days. It was an excellent road trip. Now to look to the future if I can wake up at a decent time tomorrow! More wine.

Disaster averted in Dunkirk. A dog, not on a lead, decided to bolt across the street probably to chase a bird. The posh lad nearly hit it. I spilt my road beer! Alarms went off in the fine motorcar like it was a doomsday event. He stalled it braking, got out and abused the French lady dog owner.

The winter road trip comes to an end today. After one last coffee, we shall motor from Ghent. A walkabout of Bruges is required for a laugh (we visited two long weeks ago!) then De Haan and the beach for the view. Then to Dunkirk before getting in the hated Channel Tunnel. Happy #Sunday

Pretty good day with respect to football results. Tottenham WIN vs Ipswich 1-4 Hated Arsenal LOSE vs. West Ham Mighty Red Stars DRAW vs. Parizan 3-3 in a very unbalanced game where the mighty Red Stars had 20 shots on goal. Madness.

Working from the fine motorcar is nice. The posh boy is driving. Traffic around Antwerp is awful, though. I can use my time wisely and do the hated admin in the system. I'm winning. Fun drinks will be on offer in 45 minutes, hopefully! Next stop Ghent.

We watched "Queer" (2024) Daniel Craig was splendid but the story was boring. A few blokes with gym bodies but never use the gym with bad diets on booze and drugs end up in the forest on the lash hanging out smoking whatever. Hardly any interest in the bloke with specs @dmovies.bsky.social 2 stars

Best 1st episode for a White Lotus season if I discount the opening theme. Excellent association with Mizaru, Kikazaru and Iwazaru. See No Evil, Hear no Evil, Speak No Evil, associated with the three wise monkeys rooted in Buddhist teachings. A topic lampooned in the episode. I loved it! #whitelotus

We are watching the episodes (recently released) of #cobrakai season 6. Breakfast was delivered to the room, including a large pot of coffee and a mimosa for the posh lad. Sometimes I overlook this luxury on Sunday mornings in Europe. I am usually too focused to get down the road. Soon though.
