So apparently it's been over a month since I posted an update, here's some new footage of my game. The first enemy "the sting" drifts towards the player and hits it, inflicting a small amount of damage, and runs away. The player can shoot a laser to hurt the enemy. #gamedev #programming #cpp

What the hell is this moron on about? The UK didn't have elections during WW2, does that make Winston Churchill a dictator? It's quite hard to have elections when bombs are being dropped on your cities and many of your men are away from home dying for their freedom. #ukraine #trump

I've been a bit busy so I haven't had as much time to work on my game. I've added an enemy sprite and the ability to fire the laser but I won't post about it yet.

Day #2 of Space Game development. Today I added a health bar, a game over screen, and the basis for a points system. The player will lose health when enemies (TBA) attack it, and if the player runs out of health they will die. Points will be obtained by killing enemies. #gamedev #programming #cpp

Day #1 of developing my game, for now called "the Space Game". Today I implemented the turret. The turret's purpose will be to shoot projectiles at enemies either by moving the turret using the arrow keys or AD or turning it to point at the target by moving the mouse. #gamedev #programming #cpp
