In the South, avoiding Texas / UConn / SoCal / UCLA, it's not a perfect draw but I'd probably take it versus playing out the season if that choice were somehow on offer.

It feels like the secret sauce last year was the defensive line and secondary were simply fantastic. I think the secondary can run it back, but whether we can replace Kennard (and to some extent, Sanders) is maybe the biggest question for the entire team.

My grand theory of this team is that it is nigh impossible to meet the hustle requirements in an SEC game when you have so many guys playing 30+ minutes, which is why they get beat on the boards and have bad turnovers. The thing that needs the most fixing is taking losses in conference CGs into account, and acknowledging that they're going to slightly mess with seeds in order to avoid regular season rematches. This bracket rules a lot more without Ohio St./Oregon in the quarters, and both these fixes address that.
