We call on the NI Executive to ensure the Anti-Poverty Strategy is fully resourced to deliver on its objectives. Every department must play a key role in the development, resourcing, delivery and outcomes of the Anti-Poverty Strategy #AntiPovertyStrategyGroup

Workers deserve protection, not exploitation. We need strong laws against precarious work, unfair contracts, and low wages. Let’s make employment fair for everyone #AntiPovertyStrategyGroup

CLC calls for robust outcomes monitoring and data collection to track the new SEN reform plan’s impact. This includes: - Schools capacity to provide early intervention - Whether EA pupil support services can meet demand - Outcomes for children with SEND Read more at https://buff.ly/3EtXSxD

A secure home is the foundation of a stable life. Addressing poverty means investing in affordable housing, employment inclusion, and accessible services. Housing is a right, not a privilege #HousingForAll #AntiPovertyStrategyGroup

We’re speaking out today at the launch of the Anti-Poverty Strategy Group. Where is the much promised strategy & will it bring real action on the poverty that 1 in 4 of our children live with?

Work should pay, not trap people in poverty! A Real Living Wage, collective bargaining, and ending zero-hour contracts can ensure workers earn enough to live with dignity. Lets stand up for fair pay and secure work. Share if you agree #FairPay #LivingWage #AntiPovertyStrategyGroup

No child should grow up in poverty. A new Child Payment and a cost-free school participation strategy can give every child an equal chance in life. Investing in children today means a stronger future for all. Support the change #ChildPoverty #AntiPovertyStrategyGroup

Eamonn McNally, a solicitor at the Children's Law Centre who previously represented Sophie, said the teenager has been “dragged into the criminal justice system for what is essentially a health and social care situation”.

CLC is also concerned about whether the Department of Education has fully met its statutory equality duties when publishing the new SEN reform agenda and five year delivery plan. Read more at https://buff.ly/3EtXSxD

We’re calling for an Anti-Poverty Act & Commission to ensure long-term solutions that work for everyone. It’s time for policies that protect and empower. Join the movement for change! #EndPoverty #AntiPovertyStrategyGroup

The new graduated response framework announced by the Department of Education must align with the existing SEND legal framework and statutory Code of Practice to ensure children’s rights remain protected. It should not introduce unnecessary delay. Read more at https://buff.ly/3EtXSxD

Without the necessary financial and human resources – and meaningful collaboration across services – the new SEND reform plans will struggle to bring about real change. Read CLC's assessment of the new plans at https://buff.ly/3EtXSxD
