"When reporters called this out, the DOGE team made a fascinating choice. Instead of fixing their error, they actually removed the correct document from their website and replaced it with the old, incorrect one. They are now deliberately posting false information to support the narrative."

I don't get personal on main very often, but I spent a few hours writing this, and I want you to read it. It's about my dad and my stepmom, and me, and Stranger Things, and what's happening to the VA right now. www.cheriepriest.com/blog/the-dep...

Cattle dogs being tuckered out be their own shenanigans is just adorable

This is one of my favorite poems of all time, written by the wonderful & greatly missed John M. Ford. I’ve been thinking about it a lot recently. So I thought I would share it.

I wanted to compare them to a herd of idiot sheep milling around on the lawn, but that's an insult to the sheep.

One of my favorite things is discovering new art through something I'm reading/watching/listening to. If you're not listening to Civilized, it's an improv story about being stranded on a strange planet. Now there's The Amelia Project, teeing up to be my next binge listen pca.st/episode/a7fe...

It’s going to get worse than most people realize, in ways we can’t predict, faster than we expect. A lot of people are going to suffer. But it’s also not forever, and it’s more fragile than these people think.

One of the best. The world is poorer without him in it.

“There he goes. One of God’s own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.” 😢

My local movie theater does a display in the lobby of the books that go with any of the movies currently playing & I love that
