To my friends here in Aotearoa please note that submissions on this important legislation close at the end of the month. I for one am keen to maintain strict gun laws that put safety at the centre.

Seymour’s school lunch provider had three months to get ready for the start of the school year, and they still can’t guarantee schools that lunches will be delivered. Setting up a library card last year after a hiatus was the single best customer service experience I've had in my life. Tried to apply late evening but didn't work. Woke up to an email noting it was because I needed my old details, providing them, and also having completed the process for me. A+

The Post printed an article today asserting that Wellington’s car parking is “overstretched”. I asked what their basis was for asserting this, given that WCC parking occupancy at peak times is only 52% and there are around 30,000 car parks overall in the central city. They removed the assertion.

I am reading nearly every day about tacks being laid out on our cycle ways this summer. Someone could be seriously hurt by this petty destructiveness. We should all appreciate people who choose active or public transport - for emissions & air quality and the ease of us all getting around.
