unfortunately I know people who watch TV like this and it's aggravating to talk to them about a show they only half paid attention to. they probably make Netflix more money by having stuff playing in the background for hours on end vs someone who has their eyes glued to the screen for only 30 min.

I want artists slighted by AI to share this more. But I think aside from not knowing about it, people are hesitant to share/care because this is just one part of how imperialists carry out their exploitation. Nearly all of our technology and resources are tainted by this.
