Looking for inspiration from the #MathsToday crew. On Friday I have my first lesson with top set y7 who I will be seeing 1/fortnight from now. I'll be doing rich tasks with them. What would you start with, which task is your favourite?

These questions are amazing!

Hey folks. Sorry I've been a lot more sporadic recently, but hopefully once I'm at new job after Easter I'll have a bit more time to be active. For old time's sake, give me your favourite weird maths words! #MathsToday

The US just voted alongside Russia, Belarus and North Korea against a UN resolution to support Ukraine. This is a wake-up call for all those cheerleading Trump in our country.

Yes, as one of the 12 I am! Also sounds like "and for the 12 a third series was forged, deep in the hidden studios"

Every transition. .. Packing Getting In the car to go to the airport. Getting out of the car at the airport. Getting in to the airport building. Joining a queue Near the front of the queue Repeat until in hotel room at the other end!!

#MathsToday was more magic moments with y13. Can you tell what I added to my pic just to make it more fun and up the jeopardy...

So on Sunday I was living a real life A Level maths question... Here is our cylindrical water tank. I know you can do the maths but it has a volume of 320L.

I don't know, but I really want to!!

Trespassers on the line, apparently. 🤬🤬

On Reading for another birthday celebration. .. and more importantly visiting Theo... Who is looking a bit more catty and a bit less kitteny! #Caturday

My #MathsToday offering is my Y10 doing a mix of expanding ... a mix meaning 3x(x-2) 3(2x-3)-5(3-2x) and (2x-1)(3x-5) Knowing what was same and / or different in each. Was very proud of how they did and how hard they worked. They'd done each sort before, but not all muddled together.
