I think fighting games should explicitly ship with two matchmaking modes. High Player Count: Quickmatch, Rankings, ELO, SBM. Any UX that requires a lot of players to properly function. Low Player Count: Huge open lobbies, optional ELO, matchmaking is player driven as much as possible. #gamedev 🧵

Couldn’t make it to a Canada regional this weekend because I dropped my car off at a body shop on Monday and they still haven’t finished working on it yet. The ordered the wrong part and didn’t tell me after I told them multiple times I needed it back by Friday. 😒 The weather didn’t help either.
