The Hoboken City Council is trying to make us have a CELL BLOCK HAZMAT DRUM nearby, in order to charge or store our e-bike, e-scooter, electric skateboard or lithium ion battery powered wheelchair. These requirements don't exist for EV cars, though. 🧵

Many e-bikes, e-scooters, electric skateboards and power wheelchairs meet industry standard fire safety criteria, but the Hoboken City Council is insisting on banning you from storing or charging them in your own home. Tell your councilperson they should not support this! 🧵
