Just finished reading "A Recipe for Life, A Tonic for Grief" by @chrisblake.bsky.social in @strangehorizons.bsky.social. Wow! A poignant story about saying goodbye. I also recommend the podcast, beautifully read by @emmiechristie33.bsky.social strangehorizons.com/fiction/a-re...

Just watched this and as soon as I'm done typing I'm going to rewatch it. The animation is stunning, with fluidity like a more organic Inception meets Dr. Strange, but with an art style all its own. The story is propulsive and mindbending with a stunning character driven emotional core. Go watch!

So thrilled to be part of the incredible ToC for the Intergalactic Rejects anthology from @calendaroffools.bsky.social! Persisting despite rejection is one of the hardest skills I've learned as a writer. How moving to be part of an anthology encouraging others to overcome rejection too!

I’ve already enjoyed the ebooks but am now even more excited to get my grubby winter mitts on these two great tomes of Canadian SFF. What an impressive table of contents! It warms the maple syrup flowing through my heart to see. Thanks @ourmankoto.bsky.social for showing off Canadian creativity!

As we barrel toward year's end, I'm celebrating my 2024 publications. First, "A Recipe for Life, A Tonic for Grief" published in text and audio by Strange Horizons. It's a story of love, food, grief, and a magic cookbook that might have the cure for everything. strangehorizons.com/podcasts/pod...

My short (very short!) story is out in Short Édition today, clocking in at a brisk 4 minute read. Whining and Dining: Wonder? Full! is the story of a jaded food critic who visits a very unusual restaurant, told through a New Yorker-style restaurant review. Enjoy! short-edition.com/en/story/sho...
