I got sick of capitalists saying prescription drugs had to be expensive or they wouldn’t be invented. Also, I’m offended on behalf of my ancestors. So I offer this: medium.com/@kpluseiswis...

Hey Bluesky, I know this is the biggest ask, but can you not display posts with political content? Don’t unfollow anyone, just leave me off the political posts? Pretty please?

Anyone have a better system for identifying one’s values? The whole think about times when you felt really good and really bad haven’t helped me much. I revisit my values a few times a year. They’re always slightly different and dynamic. Thanks for any tips!!

People love attention. Especially toddlers and other immatures. Ignoring bad behavior can actually reduce it. No attention, no motivation. KWIM? This post isn’t about parenting or toddlers. Why do we pay /so much attention to morons?

If you are neurodivergent, you might relate to this one. What do you think life is like for ‘normal people’? It’s a weak metaphor, but it reminds me of the Eddie Murphy SNL skit from the 80s, where he dressed up as a white guy and experienced life differently. medium.com/@kpluseiswis...

I posit an honest question: medium.com/@kpluseiswis...

Hi! I am screening for a therapist, counselor, or coach. I have been in various therapies for 15 years and am at the ‘radical acceptance’ phase of healing. I understand my issues as much as I can at this point and they are: (1/4)

As I explore Substack and Bluesky, having little experience and no success finding community in social media, I wonder if this creates confirmation bias. I want a community of mutual respect and validation, but not an echo chamber. Is that even possible? I don’t seek conflict but DISCOURSE.

Can I get algorithmic with you, Bluesky? I write (and podcast) about the things that should interest us all. Like why capitalism is broken, why we are all anxious and depressed, and why the climate is changing. Evolutionary Biology, Mindfulness, Anthropology, Psychology, and Personal Growth.

A new article about science, reductionism, and thinking more like our indigenous ancestors. medium.com/@kpluseiswis...

Once again I had a ‘perfect idea’. In this case a podcast. THIS is the thing! But will I do it? Or will I lose steam and have it end up in the pile of ‘not quite its’? AuDHD is hard like that. 1,000,000 ideas, but little ability to figure out which ones will change the world. #neurodivergent

When and why did we swap values from connectedness and sharing to individualism and hoarding? Was it recent, or so long ago that only indigenous cultures will know? Also, how do we reverse this swap? Asking for 8 billion friends. #change

What percentage of social platforms do you REALLY think are bots? I stand by 50%+.

Sure wish I could figure out in how to reach other INFJish, empathic, introspective, ND, hypervigilant, recovering people pleasers on Bluesky. I had to leave my awesome community in Threads. #nonconformist

Just got an email saying my li'l ole podcast "The Neurodivergent Professor" (formerly known as Knowledge + Experience = Wisdom) has been downloaded 5,000 times in about 5 years. It is on pause while I adjust to boat life, and was on pause for six months before, but people still listen! Thank you!!!

The more I read indigenous authors the more I realize it is all true. White people fucked shit up.

I have never been good at social media. I finally found a nice community on Threads (because I found it to be kind). I just quit all Meta and hope I can find my people here on Bluesky.

Where are my hypervigilant, INFJ, empathic, HSP, AuDHD, perfectionist, mind-reading, people-pleasing introverts? I KNOW you’re here!!

Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria webmd.com/add-a… When I learned about this I felt seen and validated. I also feel like this might not be real, but that's probably trauma-related. Do y'all experience this or think it is fake? It's so hard for me not to see both sides.

Hello Bluesky peeps! I'm Chris. I'm write and podcast about and want to connect with folks who like: fresh thinking, common sense, evolution, Natural Law, meditation, indigenous cultures, communication, & coffee - and know humans need to redefine our values to reconnect to the Earth and each other.
