Definitely him.

Feeling this quote pretty hard today. Incredible amounts of preparation, and a big thing still didn't go right. Not to say that that there were not things to learn from it, because there most definitely were. Gonna take a knee on today, but right back up tomorrow to get back after it.

This moody little film is easily Top 3 of 2024 for me. It's got a little more polish than the director's previous feature, Caveat, but still oozing with dread. #IHFCFeed

A fairly large, reputable website just asked me to make sure my email address is correct in their system by... sending an email. 100% some executive required this email to be sent over objections from every rational person in the meeting. (It's not a phishing scam. Actual email from the company.)

That tree has one hell of an agent.

Discussing the Rogue One sequel that hits theaters tonight.

I see Sean and Tiffany in that crowd, love those two! WGASTRONG!

The last piece of my Hellfire Club starter kit arrived, @jaketapper.bsky.social (For those unfamiliar, the paperbacks in this picture are ARCs, Advanced Review Copies. I have a small collection of ARCs from authors I enjoy and couldn't resist grabbing these when I saw they were available.)

nontechnical version: this is a big deal + huge step for transparency! most companies keep their code private/proprietary, but bc ours is public, you can literally see every implementation (how we make buttons blue, how mute lists work, etc) & what we're working on at any given moment

Arnold leaving the dumpster fire that is Twitter behind.

I would kill for an ALF doll right now, but Tyrion will have to do. Testing real-time virtual production with green cardboard and action figures!

Had some things to do today, so I wasn't on Bluesky much. Apparently Animorphs took over while I was gone? Have we seen any ALF-Animorphs crossovers yet?

The Good Samaritan, as we all know, is the story Jesus told about a man who murdered a beggar because he found the beggar rude, and then the Samaritan was praised and protected by occupying Roman Legionnaires, which Jesus said was good and right and not antithetical to his whole deal.

I am always saying all of this

From the "needs no introduction" category...

Hell yeah! Filmmaker, author, Mohawk/sentient beard aficionado, decent human being, and all around weirdo @michaeljepstein.bsky.social has entered that chat.Everybody give Michael a follow and check out his filmography on Letterboxd or IMDB.

I was thinking about using the new Bluesky Feed Generator project to write a custom algo for all ALF related posts, but I think it might just be easier to direct people to @faineg.bsky.social's post and replies feed instead.
