The former ambassador to Denmark for the United States, Rufus Gifford, posted this video on his Facebook account: Ht: @hpsc24.bsky.social

Wow. Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde fearlessly calls out Trump and Vance to their faces. This is heroic. (posting in 3 parts due to Bluesky's 1 minute limit)

More a limp lettuce than a letter 🥬😂😂

I firmly believe that everyone who stands for political office should have to undergo at least BPSS checking with SC/CTC mandatory for all elected MPs www.gov.uk/government/p...

This is such a great story amidst all the crap in the world. Well done the fantastic team in Dudley Zoo and thank you @theguardian.com for reporting it - far more important than immigration figures or loony Tories defecting to Reform.

I always thought Philp WAS a robot - just not a very well programmed one

"Having him in the Royal Society seemed such a contradiction of all the values of the Royal Society. And I didn’t really want to have anything to do with it.” Huge respect for Prof Dorothy Bishop, given Musk's avid promotion of vaccine conspiracy theories. www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

Genius

Terrific thread. Thank you so much.

This is how to do a maiden speech: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZOI... New Labour MPs yet to do theirs might like to learn from this

The Horizon Inquiry having ended last week, it is very striking that the brilliant Jason Beer KC has now moved seamlessly on to the Salisbury Novichok Poisonings Inquiry. Busy guy!

Brilliant- justice for Aunt Lucy I say. Is there any dispensation in the rules for a Royal pardon bearing in mind Paddington’s relationship with our late Monarch? Or is she also somehow complicit in his serial offending ?

C4’s just-announced US election night coverage America Decides started out so well. Maitlis, Guru-Murthy, Frei and Vine, linked with CNN, plus Stormy Daniels as guest. Then they inexplicably decided to add Boris Johnson which makes it unwatchable.

Been on the TV again. Well BFBS so it’s as good as! An interview I did at my reparations ceremony about the National LGBT Armed Forces Community Memorial I am project manager for www.forcesnews.com/lgbtq/servic...

Every new prime minister gets to celebrate their 50th day in office by restoring Liz Truss's rightful title of 'UK's shortest serving prime minister'. Congrats, Keir Starmer!

I keep saying “less like this “ to cat posts but it has no effect

I bought the spectator cos am feeling the lack of different views a bit after leaving x and ngl this is actually quite funny

I’m still watching Twitter because there are some communities there who I need/want to monitor and they have yet to make the leap. But I’m not tweeting, re-tweeting or liking anything. And I’m blocking the rubbish that makes me angry

Exciting news at News Agents towers. Just been announced Louis Degenhardt is joining the show as Executive Producer from the autumn. He’s easily one of the very best news producers/editors in Britain today. So thrilled he’s coming to work with us.

The British Library deserve great credit both for publishing this painfully honest paper about what happened to them with their cyber attack, & for this brilliant statement about UK government ransom payment policy www.bl.uk/home/british...

Oh hello Britain 😳 That blue line is activity in the UK spiking past all of the other countries on Bluesky right now. Welcome, and invite a friend to join us! bsky.app/download

The focus of commemoration at the British Normandy Memorial is on 6 June each year. But on Remembrance Sunday as on every day, the Memorial is open for anyone in the area who wants a moment of quiet reflection.

My appeal on the Today Programme on 3 April for the UK to suspend arms exports to Israel seems to have generated some interest. It was not a knee-jerk reaction to one awful incident. The deaths of the 7 aid workers brought into sharp focus a deep underlying problem. This was my argument 1/6
