Fun fact: In between brand projects when things were slow, I would sketch X-Men logos for fun. I still do from time to time. What I’m saying is that I want to be @hellomuller.bsky.social when I grow up. 😂

So *this* is how it felt for book readers of Game of Thrones when the Red Wedding happened. #TheLastOfUs

I keep falling into the habit of wanting to hit Command + S on this traditional art piece that I’m working on. So annoying!

Today is World Art Day! While I can’t share new projects that I’m working on at the moment, enjoy this doodle of my doodle!

I’m having a serious case of the Mondays! Yeesh.

Ooo boy! Earthquake here in SD and SoCal. That was an intense one.

Your reminder for today. (Found this is my workbook)

Just finished the latest print for #SDCC and now I’m officially at the crossroads I talked about before for the next one. This is going to be a hard choice. (I will share what it is when revealed and will be very curious to know which choice you would’ve went with.)

I’m very excited to share that I will be contributing art to “Journey Through the Maze: 45 Years of PAC-MAN!" Huge thanks to Art Ebuen for the rec, Irvine Fine Arts, City of Irvine & Great Park Gallery. I’ll be at the opening & hope to see you there! See image for details with more info to come.

In my latest newsletter I shared that I’ve recently been diagnosed with De Quervain’s tenosynovitis, which is an inflammation of the sheath surrounding tendons in the wrist. I’m doing my best to get better, especially with SDCC coming soon. Anyone ever deal with this condition?

RIP to the legend and someone who influenced me growing up, Robert McGinnis. Fun fact: I collect pocket books featuring his cover art. His work will continue to live on and inspire.

Just a few hours left before the Switch 2 Nintendo Direct! #MyBodyIsReady

Oh…Mark. I have feelings. #severance

Since I’ve been asked this a lot recently, no, I will not be exhibiting at WonderCon. I wish I could (never done it before), but the timing always seems to coincide with my wife and I’s anniversary, and we’re usually out of town celebrating. Maybe one day!

That’s a wrap for SD Rocket Con 2025! 🚀 It was our first time at the show, and it was a successful one! Many thanks to Steve and Chase from TC’s Rockets for having us. To our friends, old and new, thank you for helping make this con a memorable one. Until next time!

These 1/1 framed originals are still available at SD Rocket Con! If any of these catch your eye, come on down! If they don’t find a home today, they’ll be saved for #SDCC.

We’re ready for SD Rocket Con day two! Let’s goooo! 🚀

Happy #316Day! OH HELL YEAH! 💀🍻

We’re ready for take off at SD Rocket Con! 🚀

Happy #MAR10Day! 🍄 To celebrate, I wanted to share this original 1-of-1 Mario piece that was exclusively created for one of the Maze Mystery Boxes for SDCC last year. It features Mario playing his Gameboy underneath a giant mushroom. To whoever got this one, I hope you enjoy it!

Stickers, stickers, stickers! Slap them anywhere and everywhere! 🚀 Along with my art prints, I’ll have a variety of stickers and sticker sets ready for you at SD Rocket Con! Come check them out and add some flair to your collection! 🚀 March 15-16, Del Mar Fairgrounds, San Diego

NGL, super envious of my fellow creatives at ECCC. I hope to rock that show one day. Wishing them all a very successful show!

Mark your calendars! My wife and I are exhibiting at SD Rocket Con for the first time ever! 🚀 Join us March 15-16 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds for a weekend of collectibles, comics, toys, and more. I’ll have original art, prints, and stickers. More details to come. Stay tuned!

I’ve been sending out my newsletter for over three years now, and I’ve been considering moving the main content to a blog format while reserving the newsletter for special updates and early access to projects. I’m curious if anyone else has done this or has any thoughts on it.

Tomorrow’s newsletter is all about cons! Get an exclusive look at the new art I’ll have at my first show of the year, Rocket Con! Plus, I have an SDCC update with a sneak peek at my latest print. If you’re interested, sign up—I’d love to have you! linktr.us20.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=...

I’ve been heads-down working on freelance projects, and my go-to music lately has been the Donkey Kong Country and Killer Instinct soundtracks. Man…Rare was IT!

Did you see that new #Andor trailer? Hot damn, I cannot wait! To celebrate, I wanted to share the Andor print that I released 2 years ago. It features Luthen Rael and his hauntingly beautiful monologue from S1, Ep. 10. I call it, “A Sunless Space.”

It’s #WickWednesday (Oh, it’s not? Ah well), and I wanted to share this recent commission—combining John Wick with the code element from The Matrix. I depicted the code falling around John Wick like rain.

Just finished the newest print for #SDCC 25! When looking at everything I’ve completed so far, my wife mentioned that my new work is stylistically different from my previous art. Admittedly, some pieces are, but I’m excited for everyone to see them too!

Another recent commission that I wanted to share is Jack Knight’s Starman with his signature Cosmic Staff and goggles. I love illustrating characters in moments beyond the usual heroic poses and this was no exception.

Happy Valentine’s Day! ♥️ I feel today is the perfect day to share both X of Hearts artworks—the original and the limited variant. Do you have either of these? Wishing you a wonderful Hearts Day!

It’s Trash Thursday (okay, maybe not), and I wanted to share another recent commission—Oscar the Grouch and Slimey! And there’s a Ted Lasso twist, featuring a “SCRAM” sign similar to Ted’s iconic “BELIEVE” sign that was created separately, crumpled up, and taped above them.

Another day, another recent commission to share—this time featuring our favorite Cajun, Gambit! I enjoy illustrating characters in moments outside their expected poses, and he was no exception. I leaned into the flirty stare and pose for the #Romy fandom. ❌♥️

Feeling better from the flu. Fresh cut. Clean shave. I feel like a human being again.

I’ve been down and out because of the flu. However, I’m getting some energy back so I thought I’d share a recent commission. This one is Mel from Arcane. This is a 5x7" full-color portrait, and I absolutely adore her character design, so I was excited to create my own version of her.
