All this obsessive talk among the major labels about "superfans" over the past couple years like it's some hot new thing. Turns out what they mean is "people who go to shows, buy stuff, check in with their favorite artists once in a while."  Oh, so, like, fans?

Honestly pretty surprised by how massive radio still is (in the aggregate). Radio loses out to streaming if you include the 13- demo, but not by much. That weird little sound-machine Marconi made in 1896 hasn't yet been killed by TV, TikTok, or — apparently — even YouTube.
