So in Los Angeles, we’ve had a crazy amount of rain for this late in the season. On a ‘normal’ year, we’d pretty much be dried out, with no real rain expected again until late October. But I remember back in the 70’s, SoCal would get big monsoonal storms during summer. This is like those days.

Oh, something interesting. I went to veterans hospital to get a Covid booster, and the clinician entered my name onto some kind of website that showed my visits to CVS for Covid boosters. So… we all might possibly have an online medical profile that different unrelated places can access?

Oh! A really cute thing happened. So, my hubby and I have been feeding the local crows, and today we received a feather gift. A big black feather left conspicuously in front of our door. So, our peanut offerings are becoming known among the birbs. I wonder what their names for us are.
