In case you’re wondering what New Orleans parenting looks like, a few weeks ago my friend’s toddler cried because she wouldn’t take him to a parade that day (there were no parades that day) and she had to put one on YouTube for him to watch. Anyway, he got to go last night and he looked so happy!
