Little #poem I wrote about #songbirds. Photo by me. I’m no photographer and it’s slightly out of focus but I love that this picture captures the bird in mid-song #birds #poetry #photography

✔️Badass female protagonist ✔️Small town setting ✔️Multiple POVs ✔️Supernatural baddies ✔️Wicked kids ✔️Overreaching tech giant ✔️Strange & disturbing experiences ✔️So much blood... THE ORCHID ROOM has it all… #books #novel #horrorbooks #horror #supernaturalhorror #occulthorror #thriller #smalltownhorror

One of my favourite albums to #write to. Most often, but not always, I listen to instrumental music while I write. #Soundtracks especially work for me. This one is so varied and haunting. And THE RING is one of my favourite horror movies of all time. #writing #music #horror #thering #inspiration

K here's another little #poem I wrote. Is it deep? Is it ridiculous? Probably the latter. But then again, are we ...? #poetry #question #volcano #mountain #introspection

Wrote 4,300 words on the new novel today, more than double my normal daily output! The muse is strong with this one. Excited to have the first draft down so I can start honing it #writing #writingcommunity #firstdraft #novel #thriller #horror

Little #poem I wrote. At least, I think I can call it a poem. But that’s the nice thing about #poetry isn’t it? Highly interpretive and very forgiving #verse #writing

Just started a new project I’m really stoked about. Idea came to me fully formed, which doesn’t usually happen. Two chapters in and I’m pretty happy with where it’s going. Stay tuned! #books #horror #thriller #writing

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the stellar review!

There is very little that beats a fresh shipment of #books

Can’t recall ever having a bad dream directly based on a show or movie but, since getting into it this year, I’ve had two intense nightmares about #SEVERANCE. In both, I was severed and it was horrible

Recently finished the first season of SEVERANCE and can’t stop thinking about it. Best series I’ve watched in a long time. Can’t wait to dive into season 2

Did not enjoy THE SUBSTANCE as much as I thought I would. Cinematography was incredible though

When his cousin starts selling mysteriously decadent, intoxicating desserts that elicit consumers’ most carnal desires, health inspector Arthur Duk takes it upon himself to learn their secrets … even if it will undo him. a.co/d/e1Z6EDY

Working in the arts is fucking HARD. Sometimes it can be absolutely soul crushing. It’s easy to say “Harden up, buttercup. It’s a contact sport, wear a helmet.” Better than that, you’ll want a support system, other creatives you can be honest and raw with. They will keep you sane. Mine certainly do.

Want to sample 9 different authors and don't know how? I can help by recommending.....the Paths anthologies series. 5he first was Autumn Paths.....😁

Welcome to Maggie’s Knee, PA. Take the perfect selfie on Jessop’s Bridge, grab a tour of the KnowMe Technological Park, or visit one of the many shops and restaurants on Main Street. Don’t mind the rumors about all those missing kids. And ignore the lingering feeling that you’re being watched.

…it’s not pronounced “blooskie”???
