Saw Nosferatu and after doing some reading and thinking I'm going with 3.5 out of 5. It's beautifully crafted and Skarsgard is perfect as Orlock. Depp vacillates between a dedicated madness and stilted delivery. Ultimately, while beautiful, this new version doesn't do enough to make it unique.

A very late, probably not hot take: Sorry To Bother You is the movie Idiocracy thinks it is (or that it's fans think it is). Dystopian, anti-capitalist, but uses eugenics in a fitting way to tell a horrific story of the perils of media, capital, and the dangers of the establishment eating you up.

Just watched The Substance. Highly recommended. It's an interesting parallel with Joker. Two people devoured by an uncaring system who publicly lash out. The difference? Arthur hurts others and is an anti-hero. Elisabeth only hurts herself and is reviled by society.
