Am I crazy or did we just have a convo about how we can't fund cancer research?

i think it should be a bigger story that the president held a meeting with a foreign head of state where he ranted about the most gutter white supremacist propaganda you can find on the internet

In 2001 I was working at a high-end, pretentious catering outfit in Portland. They were enamored of Chef Keller. The coffee table cookbook from The French Laundry was a staple in the kitchen. The bit about the tree is a perfect metaphor.

May 18, 1980 - Mt St Helens erupted in southern Washington state It was the deadliest eruption in US history, killing 57. Fortunately, probably fewer died thanks to warnings from government funded geophysicists monitoring the volcano

45 years ago today, I was at Boy Scout camp on Sauvie Island just outside of Portland, Oregon. It was also a Sunday. A rumor was going around camp that Mt. St. Helens was erupting again. 1/7 #mtsthelens #mountainbiking #volcano

I worked as a line cook and sous chef in restaurant kitchens for over 15 years until I got a retail gig managing the meat department for a progressive, "natural" grocery store 20 years ago. Occasionally I'll have these dreams of being Lost On The Line in some strange kitchen.

Happy Mother's Day. Don't get too busy!

Lost On The Line Again.

James, what did you do? nypost.com/2025/05/09/w...

Southbound and down.

Twin Peaks: Hawk, Truman and Cooper.

Speaking of The Met, here's a photo I took of a beautiful painting I got to stare at when I visited NYC last year.

In @highcountrynews.org, @shaun505.bsky.social writes brilliantly about what trucks can do, and how they can bring people together, and how the Cybertruck is just a baking sheet on wheels for dysfunctional men. www.hcn.org/issues/57-5/...

Definitely not photoshopped
