Playing through the Mass Effect Trilogy again and props to Bioware for making the only series where I feel the need to play the predecessor before the game I wanted to play. ME1 is a bit of a slog, but it's worth it for the story callbacks and XP in ME2 What games would you wish did it that way

There's an unspoken rule in my neighborhood that once you hear someone mowing, you are legally obligated to do the same. Today, I was the first guy, and for that I apologize profusely

Elon's government email is: [email protected] Please don't send anything to it, that would not be good at all! theintercept.com/2025/03/06/e...

Nice time to remind everyone that if the game running at AGDQ at the moment isn't your jam, the venue has so much more to offer. For example, there's a board game room where I'm ready to run a Star Wars TTRPG for anyone interested!

A buddy of mine in the Spider-Man 2k speedrunning scene put together this great video essay on its history. Check it out! youtu.be/iOpEOvRgINE?...

Popeye and TinTin are in the public domain this year, opening up new and exciting interpretations of the characters and their stories. ...so how long until one or both of them get a shitty horror movie version announced?

Spider-Man(2000) is a completely stable and reliable speedrun and I encourage everyone to do it 😑 clips.twitch.tv/DarkNeighbor...

Shadow Labyrinth was unintentionally the funniest part of the Game Awards

Pissing off my friends in Marvel Rivals by talking like an anime protagonist and calling Thor "Thor Odin-san" #MarvelRivals

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY! I was thinking about the movie and there's a scene just after the climax where Indy says he wants to stay in the past because there's nothing left for him in the present.

I want to emphasize, ESPECIALLY this year, to look after your vulnerable friends this holiday season. Seasonal depression is real. It can feel maddening to be depressed at a time where it seems like everyone is/should be happy Be kind and gracious to yourself and others

Today in "Wait, that song's about WHAT?" 🧵 The Piña Colada song. A man decides to cheat on his SO(wife?) on a whim after reading a personal ad in the paper. He then proceeds to meet this stranger at a bar where he would leave his old life behind.

CTO held a meeting where the ending note was a response to concerns about Return to Office. His response consisted of telling us without backing data that being in person was "just better" and we had to just "figure out work-life balance" These guys are so fucking disconnected from reality

Hearing someone refer to simulator games as "Dad Games" both makes complete sense but also why do you have to call me out like that? I'm not the "model train dad" because I like Power Washing Simulator, and TCG Card Shop Simulator, and Supermarket Simulator and Gas Station Simulator and

Found out it's the OG Xbox's birthday! I remember being absolutely blown away by Jet Set Radio Future as the first game I played on the console, but here's a few other highlights from the console: -Spongebob licensed games -007 games(Nightfire❤️) -BATTLEFRONT 2 -Indiana Jones & the Emperor's Tomb

Things I enjoy: -comics -art -voice acting -Playstation -speedrunning -video game soundtracks -movie scores -retro games -indie games And of course -staving off existential dread with humor See if I can't find some moots

The fact they call it skeeting and not skywriting feels like a huge missed opportunity to me

God, do I even listen to enough music for this?

Mandatory return to office policies are just a vehicle for soft layoffs. A spineless tactic meant to "recover" more wealth for those that don't need it by removing the people who make them their money

My infant daughter shat through 2 different onesies yesterday, prompting my wife to make her promise not to shit through the next one. She proceeded to spit up all over the next one instead. So, yeah, she might be a lawyer one day

I am genuinely jealous of the person who watched Bucky pull his arm out of a dishwasher and said, "Whoa, Thunderbolts* could bring Marvel back." That kind of optimism could move mountains

#2,577,009 Earlier on than I thought. Still, glad to see all the great people here!
