I know there’s a lot of controversy around DEI programs, but im grateful for the chance to introduce my new program: Homogeny, Intolerance, Totalitarianism, Loyalty, Exclusion, & Racism (still trying to figure out a catchy acronym since it’s so long but once I do I’m sure everyone will be on board)

So. It has officially happened. I have been officially let go from my position at CDC. I wasn’t a probationary employee. I had stellar performance reviews every year. I’ll be ok. But please understand that many worked HARD to get into these positions and were doing great public health work.

The “burn it all down” people in Trump’s government are incompetent. But don’t think their tinkering around in Washington doesn’t have consequences. Planes are crashing, your prices are going up; and diseases are spreading. Very soon, their stupidity will touch *all* of us.
