It's the same for people like me, who've moved to NZ from the Netherlands. I paid premiums for my Dutch social security for as long as I worked there (it doesn't just come from Dutch taxes), but NZ is taking that away from me as soon as I apply for NZ Super. Dutch social security also starts at 67.

Two months ago, the cheapest 1kg cheese block I could find was Pam's Edam cheese at P'nS for $8.99. Then they increased the price to $9.99, then $10.29, and now it's $11.29. A $2.30 increase in about 2 -3 months time! Back in line with other supermarkets. I'm getting desperate about food prices!

I really hate this. A majority of Wellingtonians don't want this at all. We don't want more traffic coming into Wellington, because that's what it will do. And how long is the work on this tunnel going to disrupt that part of the city? Improving the public transport network is way more efficient.
