People say instead of remastering great games, remaster mediocre games that fell short of their potential. I think Saw on X360 is a good candidate. Looks great but runs poorly. Interesting story but clunky combat & repetitive puzzles. Still a good time tho #justbeatit @polykillpodcast.bsky.social

Last night I beat Layers of Fear 2023 which is a mashup of a remastered LoF1 and LoF2. Graphics are stunning. LoF1 is decent. LoF2 was a nonsensical mess. Although you could customize your character in Mass Effect, the default Shepard was the face of the series.
