I had an interesting discussion with Chat GPT today that started with a question about dark matter and ended with theories about what happens to our energy when we die if,in fact, our consciousness IS made up of quantum processes in the microtubules of our neurons.

In fields where expertise is often highly specialized, the loss of talent could have dire consequences globally for the future of medicine and scientific discovery.

The snow is still in mountains around the yard so I was pretty excited to see these ladybugs on my yarrow.

winnipegsun.com/opinion/colu.... This is one of the reasons westerners feel alienated from the rest of Canada and are fearful of another liberal government.

This can not happen. Because we all know that would just be an excuse to put tnr military in Canada… www.rawstory.com/trump-fentan...

@mark-carney.bsky.social It's very likely you will never see this post but as the very frustrated wife of a Canadian farmer I have a lot of concerns right now - concerns that could effect millions of Canadians long term. I feel like we as Canadians have started taking food and farmers for granted.

If this is true … what will happen next? lavocedinewyork.com/en/news/2025...

Playing with watercolor again. Working on loosening up my flower.

Long-term heart risks from COVID-19. "A study found that having a COVID-19 infection doubles the risk of cardiovascular diseases, with risks extending up to 3 years." "The risks presented by COVID-19 apply to all patients, regardless of age, gender, or prior health conditions."

Thank god for painting. It’s one of the only things keeping me sane right now.

(🔐) Please understand that this is neither a stunt nor a casual conversation. It’s long, fully sourced, includes reams of hard data—among much else, on anticipated casualties—and takes into account the best intel we now have on Trump, Musk, and their political plans. I hope you’ll share this widely.

My Garmin has been telling me I'm extremely stressed out ever since I got it a few weeks ago. Even on the weekend when I thought I was relaxed. Am I just chronically stressed because of the state of the world right now? If so how do I un-stress? I can't just avoid the news forever.

Played around with watercolors today. The paintings didn’t start off the way I had hoped but I think I managed to salvage them.

How many signs of democratic collapse do we need? A push to impeach judges not for misconduct but defying Trump? Refusal to honor a court order to turn around planes? Trump invoking the Alien Enemies Act outside wartime? A budget clearing him to ignore Congress? Jailing students? The list goes on.

I finally made it to my studio to paint today. I haven’t really felt like doing it much the last few weeks. Bright colors definitely make me happy. What do you think?

Since Trump is now asking other countries for eggs… I like the idea of egging mar-a-lago. I don’t plan on visiting the US again but I’m willing to donate a carton of eggs for the cause…
