I did this! I also made mashed potatoes, butternut squash, asparagus, stuffing and cranberry sauce and gravy all from scratch. A first for me because hubby usually does this but had to work today. It was all pretty dang good! I'm pooped now! In bed watching American Detective.

Getting into the holiday spirit! My dad is taking my toddler for the long weekend after Thanksgiving dinner, so we decorated a week early. I dragged that potted Colorado blue spruce onto the porch myself and am regretting it a bit today. Also, that was her first Christmas tree.

Welp, I am sick. By 6pm had a 100.2 fever. I took Ibuprofen, but I took my temp again at 8:30 when I went to bed and it was up to 100.8... Fever seems to be gone this morning, but still clammy and feeling pretty wretched so staying home today. Negative COVID test last night though, so that's good?
