funnily enough, irene WAS the retainer before she became a gleaner, working for an undisclosed rich person in Ul'Dah and doing... regular work for the most part! understandably there's little to no retainer lore in game, so i came up with my own here or there, such as internal rankings and prizes!

friend found an ai shitslop article about the "current ffxiv job meta" that calls PCT a melee called Pancer and places DNC and BRD as the worst dps with MCH above them. Other great hits include calling WHM the most technical healer, talking about RDM crit skills, and saying DRK struggles with dps
