Tuned in just to the anthems at the Canucks game against Detroit. Crowd booed the US anthem, then cheered at the end of it. I think the cheer was for the poor singer, who deserved none of the flack. O Canada was extremely loud, "Strong and free" & "stand on guard" especially.

I remember the morning of 9/11. I was in complete shock, heading off to university. I knew the world had changed. But I was glad, maybe proud, of my country being there to support Americans that day. We were there for them. Now this.
