This just happens until he and they are forcefully, physically shown they can't do it any longer

Hours ago, @politico.com revealed that DOGE is working with DHS on automating mass deportation efforts — likely explaining why many US citizens, green card holders, and even a Canadian (in Canada) got threatening emails last night terminating “your parole” and telling them to leave the US in 7 days.

Don't really feel like people have quite grasped that these are agreements to do fascism pro bono. This was the deal.

we are living in fascism right now

RFK's only consistent policy is to support whatever hurts and kills more children.

AAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA WE LIVE IN HELL

This is also who Dems picked to give her disastrous state of the union response. They are shoving the funnel in your mouth and trying to force feed you this type of person as the face of the Democratic Party. They are wholly committed to insisting they did nothing wrong in 2024. 28% approval rating

What is fascinating about the replies to this are how many ostensibly liberal people are going “no! If you do this they won’t suffer! It’s the only way they’ll turn against Trump!” and idk man I don’t think that’s the right way to treat people

yeah we’re disappearing legal residents to death camps and America’s economy is collapsing but priority one is making sure you can’t buy an affordable and probably better-equipped car from China

Let's speak plainly about what is happening. The First Amendment has been terminated for immigrants.

after january 6th a thought i've held onto is there is not a single crisis on earth, not even a threat to themselves, that could get dem leadership to rise to the occasion. and, well

The Trump administration is now canceling people's Social Security Numbers, treating them as if they are legally dead. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/10/u...

for everyone saying "primary them!" well, they did primary anti-choice Henry Cuellar, and Nancy Pelosi and the DNC put everything they had into preserving his seat (*after* his federal indictment) against pro-choice Jessica Cisneros, so 🤗

One of the early outrages in the Red Scare was Truman’s EO asserting that “sympathetic association” with communist groups was grounds for being fired from a federal job. That was bad enough, but now they’re saying alien residents can be deported for what they claim are their “expected beliefs”

YOU - I don't wanna say *cock-carousel* anymore.

one of the most infuriating parts of being alive right now is that not only are all the systems that make our society and biosphere livable being stripped for spare parts by a bunch of rapacious culture-war addled dipshits but none of them even seem to be having a good time

RFK Jr. is an active danger to America's children. Fuck everyone who allowed this man to come to power.

There is no bias stronger than the NYT's compulsion to portray every corrupt and evil villain in the known universe as a victim so long as they're white

It always boggles my mind that I, a journalist, am expressly forbidden from trading stocks, but members of Congress, with vastly greater knowledge of market-moving news, are allowed to profit by front-running markets, and so may profit by in essence stealing from the public they represent.

every day I wake up and check the news and am madder about the Trump administration than I have ever been and then I have to meet the obligations of my daily life and them the next morning I wake up and check the news and am madder about the Trump administration than I have ever been and then I have

Yes, in the perfect society there will be no cringe. But Marxism is not a utopian vision, but a process for abolishing the current state of affairs. No existing revolution can achieve perfection, therefore there can be no revolution without at least some cringe, and we must accept this.

Not a huge fan of how the thing my brain does whenever I wake up in the middle of the night is run through every regret I have from the past 20 years
