Fantastic post. I believe that genetics, breeding and socialization are involved in a dog’s behaviour. But I think there is a 4th factor and that is how the people a dog encounters treat them; take your cues from their guardians.

Of all the kids in the child ‘welfare’ system in Canada, 53.7% are Indigenous children despite being only 7.7% of the total number of children in Canada. In Manitoba, Indigenous kids are 90% of all children in child welfare. In Alberta it’s 70%.
