#cdnpoli I just completed the verification/registration process to vote for the Liberal leader. It was a bit of a nightmare for me - on my phone, which I loathe - but I got it done. The really good news is it was much too much trouble for the clowns to go through to mess with the vote!

This isn't particularly insightful, I know, but I think there is no doubt that the gutting of American institutions in the name of 'America First' is going to result in America alone and failing. If there are no safeguards on any US products/services the rest of the world will not buy them.

#CDNpoli Like so many others, I am feeling a whole lot of things about the current political climate on both sides of the border. One of the things I have been feeling the most strongly is helpless, and I hate that. So I joined the Liberal Party and made a donation. It's not much, but I feel better.

I'm feeling very discouraged this morning. PMJT leaving, DJT arriving, PP endlessly yapping and EM just crapping all over everything everywhere. I fear we are in for a very rough ride. Canada doesn't feel like a safe space today.

🧶 Very irritated with myself this morning. I planned my new project, chose colours from my stash, bought MORE yarn so I would have enough for the blanket and got started. The colour scheme is awful! Ugly! I have 25 octagon centres, 8 rows in on each, and I refuse to continue. Aaargh!

🧶I got it done before the year is over! I worked on this one off and on all year, with lots of breaks to make other things (mostly sweaters this year). I am so glad it is finished!
