We had pouring rain yesterday so the moss has gone from crispy to lush. I went to visit the wood that's teeming with one of my favourite species, Hookeria lucens and it looked gorgeous. The leaves are a single cell thick & transparent. You can see each cell. #moss #botany #macrophotography #nature

This! I am a medical sciences graduate and worked in health care and research for years. Biology isn't a rigid construct, there's always variations of the "rules". Not everyone is XX or XY, nevermind the wonderful variety of beautiful people beyond simple chromosomal classification.

21 February 1934 | Dutch Jewish girl, Elisabeth Rimini, was born in Amsterdam. She was deported from Amsterdam to #Theresienstadt ghetto in April 1943 and on 23 October 1944 she was deported to Auschwitz with her younger sister Sophia. They were both murdered in a gas chamber.
