The uneasiness I feel when I see the way in which the defense of rights goes through the normalization that some people are citizens and others are not.

Since the word “hurricane” doesn’t originally come from English, soon there won’t be ANY. But then there’s, um, “America.”

A friend of mine worked as US Aid for a number of years, traveling the world doing crucial life saving work. She sent me this link that puts the sudden, illegal stoppage in stark numbers. Can I ask as many of you you out there as possible to spread this link around? www.usaidstopwork.com

Wow, this is pretty amazing for those of us who love folk and traditional music. Smithsonian Folkways has opened its musical archive and for a monthly donation as little as $5 you can stream almost all of it (some stuff that's LP-only might not be there as yet). I'm definitely trying it out!

If she can do it, we can all do it.

Hello World!

Good morning and happy thanksgiving from @altyellonatpark.org
