Greenwald is obv a clown but this post illustrates how bad it was for pundits to say that Trump has a mandate. Such an idea is used to justify anything Trump does. It asks us to believe that all 49% of Trump voters agree w/ him on everything, which is obviously not the case (see recent polls).

My feel is that Putin/Russia worship is a hyper online right wing thing (and left-tankie thing ofc). But the general population seems pretty set in their anti-Putin sentiments. The MAGA base will blow wherever Trump lands but the Trump/Vance stance on Russia/Ukraine does not have popular support.
