So - what's going on here, you might ask. This is Farhana's response to a post referring to two natural scientists - a physicist and an earth scientist - who are asking questions about humans - to each other. The University of Trento will host the 10th Edition of the Conference on Ethnographic Research. If you are a researcher in social sciences and humanities, STS, political sciences and others, consider applying. I have attended several times and enjoyed the conference and associated events a lot!

Latest thing (in press) is a ch. "Beyond #COVID19: Caring by words in #longcovid discourses in #Japan and #Sweden". On what do they look similar and on what else do they differ? uclpress.co.uk/book/covids-... coming April 2025. I can't wait to get it. Manderson and Burke are amazing editors.

Here's a start at a Starter Pack for #medanthro, broadly defined. Some of these folks might not call themselves medical anthropologists, but if they study health, healing systems, or human biology in context, I've included them. Let me know who else should be added to the list. #anthrosky
