Two weeks ago I was motivated, protesting, townhall-ing, organizing, and feeling hopeful and powerful. I was telling the doomer "we're cooked" crowd to stop wallowing and start fighting.

No they're not, they're lying to you.
They can at least refuse unanimous consent. They set up a barely usable resource list for fired feds (a ton of whom are their direct constituents) and then filibustered those people during that townhall. They can and need to do a lot more.
