I feel that any Democrat that is sitting around and waiting to win the next election by default should get a primary challenger who is willing to fight tyranny. We are in deep trouble. Doing nothing is not an option.

apnews.com/article/snap... Isn't this the nanny state that Republicans have complained bitterly about for decades?

Wow

This is all a good reminder that, “no help, no votes until the criminal conduct stops” is neither a big ask nor a politically perilous one.

We deserve better. When are our representatives going to represent us instead of ensuring continued access to the Washington DC cocktail circuit. Democrats need to do all they can within their power to obstruct and delay. Get to work Dems! www.axios.com/2025/02/12/d...

This guy must have done something egregious like stand up for the Constitution and laws of the United States.

It would be great if this were true. I have not seen Sen Shumer di anything g but surrender or propose surrendering.

Limits to corporate profits are also known as protection for normal people. This extraction has got to stop.

Shut the fuck up when dealing with the law.

“The road we are on [as] a declining empire, becoming more and more unequal… you don’t need rocket science to understand that’s not sustainable. That situation is going to blow up, and it’s not going to be pretty.” - @profwolff.bsky.social

A slightly changed quote from Gov. George Wallace, In the name of the greatest people that have ever trod this earth, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before the feet of tyranny . . . and I say . . . Oligarchy today . . . Oligarchy tomorrow . . . Oligarchy forever.

Spot the difference

Isn't surveillance pricing where they charge different people different pri es for the same thing, just a different form of racism/prejudice? They are squeezing us ever more. This s**t has got to stop. bringmethenews.com/minnesota-ne...

Hoping to find the good ones here and leave the garbage and bots behind. You?

Americans want a government that makes their lives better, one that works for them and not the rich and powerful. That's also how they feel about health insurance -- they want it to ease the financial burden of healthcare, not to make CEOs and stockholders rich. How do we shake the monopoly grip?

The U.S. used to produce things to generate value before Neoconservative economic policies were adopted by both parties. Now the economy produces value by extracting wealth from the bottom 95%. They treat us like batteries for their wealth generation.

Amazon was finned a pittance for injuring workers through neglect. They don't even have to adopt new safety controls. Where is real accountability? This s**t has to stop.
