I stopped on my walk to tell a postman, "Thank you!" and you should have seen his reaction! He looked at me and said it's been so stressful and that he and his wife quit buying non-essential things. He is so worried about everything. So check in on your postmen.

I moved the critters to a new field today as a part of our new field rotation practices. Finally finished the last fence I needed to fully start rotating the critters. Teddy (& Cinnabon + Peso) were very happy to be in the new field with all sorts of treats!

The mini cows are trying to help me build a new fence lol I’m building a new tunnel/lane for them + the goats to walk down to get to another field. I’m about to rotate fields. The plan is to open and close lanes so that they can have access to diff fields over the year

A big thank you to everyone who wished me a happy bday! I disconnected from social media for most of today. Spent it running around the ranch, tinkering with things, and getting my 94 yr old Mamaw to try keto ice cream for the first time (she loved it lol).

So a number of updates. First off, the two baby goats are doing well. A boy and a girl, with the boy being extremely extroverted. Momma is doing well too. Also, I unexpectedly got a new vehicle — a Ford Maverick Hybrid! I’ll miss my F150, but it was time (esp with an impending trade war)
