Members of Congress were also there, but were not arrested. One reason why? It's literally illegal for DHS to bar any member of Congress from entering an immigration detention facility for the purposes of conducting oversight.

I was really outraged at the anonymously authored HHS gender dysphoria report (from multiple angles) but i am reassured by the response from the medical and advocacy communities. people are ON IT. so i just have to find out where my efforts will make the most impact.
