šŸŽØ Episode 20 of Climate Swings, my podcast about climate career trailblazers, premieres today! Meet John Muir Laws, the legendary naturalist and nature journaling pioneer. He demonstrates his nature illustration technique live on camera—watch now on the Climate Swings Substack!

100% predictable. Not only is Iran going to race even more quickly to get the bomb, they’re going to do it completely in secret and with help from Russia, North Korea, and likely China too šŸ˜“

Why are Charlotte’s plot lines on And Just Like That so mind-numbingly boring? Can the writers PLEASE give this woman a modicum of drama more exciting than needing to sell a piece of art or get her kids to come to dinner???

I’m sorry but stunts like these just make the climate community look like a bunch of kooks and zealots. We need to get better at persuasion and learn how to lower the temperature across the board (pun intended).

I don’t know why it took me so long to realize that Sabrina Carpenter is basically just a size queen

Lulu Garcia Navarro’s NYT interview with Lisa Murkowski was so infuriatingly softball. Like why didn’t she push the Senator AT ALL on the big beautiful turd or Trump’s incredibly corrupt meme coin dinner??

ā€œNo Kingsā€ demonstration, Ocean Beach, San Francisco

People at the No Kings protests are the REAL AMERICANS no matter what Donald Trump and his shameful military parade minions say!

Who else thinks that the Minnesota shootings will finally inspire a genuine debate about gun rights and doing SOMETHING to reign in the Second Amendment? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Man great thing we have the second amendment to protect our individual rights oh wait fuck.

Why oh why does this season of And Just Like That feel like it was written by a poorly mixed cosmo-sipping ChatGPT???

I look forward to NOT attending the military parade tomorrow and instead spending my Saturday throwing darts at a poster of Mango Mussolini’s face

"Patience is a superpower." Janelle Kellman is known as a patient person. It wasn't always like that: she went from type-a athlete to community coalition-builder. Her secret weapon? Learning to slow down and truly listen. Watch the clip from Climate Swings, my podcast about climate career pioneers.

Gavin Newsom did a good job on The Daily yesterday. He was clear, passionate, and forceful. ā€œWhen you spend down moral capital, it continues to grow.ā€ LOVE that line!

America’s refusal to adopt the metric system should have been a big red flag that we were ready to elect Donald Trump—not once, but twice

Nothing, NYT, the answer is absolutely nothing.

šŸŽ™ļø New podcast episode! From running ultra-marathons to running for Lieutenant Governor of California: meet Janelle Kellman. This woman doesn't just talk about resilience—she lives it. Check out her story on the latest episode of Climate Swings, my podcast about climate career trailblazers!

The protesters are not some alien, invading force. They are simply people trying to go about their lives, raise their children, make ends meet. This horrendous administration is tearing at the fabric of these communities and laughing at the wreckage—wouldn't you feel the need to protest!?

What keeps climate investors up at night? šŸŒ™ I asked Anku Madan from Obvious Ventures this question on Climate Swings, my podcast about climate career pioneers, and his answer summed up the sentiment among a lot of people working in this space: "We're just not moving fast enough."

We have brave protesters filling streets in Los Angeles and San Francisco but what about New York, Chicago, Houston, Denver, Seattle, Boston, Atlanta, St. Louis…you guys see what I’m getting at???

⚔ Anku Madan's career path wasn't linear, but it was purposeful. In this clip from Climate Swings, my podcast about climate career trailblazers, Anku shares how joining Propel(X) opened his eyes to something powerful: the ability to shift capital flows toward breakthrough technologies.

I’m sorry but Manchild is just meh. Instead of releasing a new song, Sabrina Carpenter should have done videos for Juno and Bed Chem.

I’m thrilled that our leaders in CA aren’t giving into Trump’s bullying. If he is going to deploy troops into the state’s cities and cut funding for its universities, CA must use every available means to fight back—including withholding tax revenue, which we pay way more of than we get back!

To the good men and women in the U.S. National Guard: it is up to you whether America becomes a fascist state. Please, please, please make sure it doesn’t.
