You see someone grabbing a co-worker by the upper arm. Is this (i) a Crimes Act assault allowing you to arrest them and tie them up until the Police arrive; or (ii) a Summary Offences Act assault, in which case you cannot. Answer quickly!

National MP Andrew Bayly resigns over 'inappropriate' incident with a staff member which he minimises in a statement but he had to resign which means it was more egregious than he says. Imo, half of ACT MPs and NZF MOs should also be gone but Luxon’s own negotiating ineptness means he can’t insist.
