David Hockney 1981 exhibition poster featuring a drawing of fashion designer Celia Birtwell. Hockney produced several portraits of her over the course of their friendship. I keep a framed water stained early reproduction of this one. Birtwell's (& Birtwell/Clark) designs, remain phenomenal.
