Happy hump day. I got an extremely rare hour to myself in an empty house this morning and it was glorious. I spent my time doom scrolling. I did, however, have a chuckle or two and thought I'd share one with you.

#MarcyKaptur is a democrat representative from #Ohio. She voted to censure fellow Democrat Representative Al Green, because, decorum. Funny that she's so concerned with upholding decorum in an administration that has none. She sold out when it mattered most and we won't forget.

My kid started learning #Russian all on his own. I guess it started a few weeks ago (thanks #duolingo). When I asked, 'Why Russian?!" he said, 'In case they come here. I can be your cover.' I'm not sure whether to be proud or to be even more worried about the state of things.

While I'm glad the court held to our obligations, it's a bit disconcerting that it was a 5-4 vote. It's my understanding that much of these funds are to pay for contract work already or in the process of being, completed. How is it even a question to settle the bill for the 4 who voted with Trump?

Thank you Representative Green, for standing for the American people. And this isn't the first time Rep. Green has stood up. 4 weeks ago, he introduced the first articles of impeachment of Trump's second term. He's a national hero.
